This is a delightful DVD with hours of enjoyment for pre-teens to the golden agers. Clean, enjoyable and one of the best looking man I've ever seen. Delivered with tongue-in-cheek. Nothing offendable.

Excellent and fun series. Paul Gross and David Marciano are a great team. Because of the change of cast in the third series it does take some re-adjusting to the new character played by Callum Keith Rennie. Supporting cast is also a delight

My husband had introduced me to this series a couple years ago when we rented it thru Netflix. He mentioned at the time that if we ever saw it on sale, maybe we should get it. So, for his birthday in May, his comment percolated up thru my brain and I looked for it on Amazon. I couldn't believe the price! All this and Diefenbacker, too - for 20 bucks??? I was gobsmacked! I mean, this series isn't any rocket surgery as far as series go, but it's fun, innovative and filled with wonderful characters. It's great to just take an hour's breather and enjoy the ride with this series.
 A Good Police Series But Nothing Really Incredible About June 8, 2010

I saw a few episodes of this series on cable and after seeing this set and for the price decided what the heck and bought the set, and while it is a good police spoof series nothing to particular really stands out from the show itself. Like other police series the show had the standard two partner cop solving cases and helping people out of their tough situations, you had the straight by the book Canadian police officer and his more laid back American detective partner with the wise-cracking mouth. The episodes while somewhat entertaining weren't exactly great either pretty much what you expected from the episodes pretty much is what would happen at the end. The cast were pretty good actors and actresses for their roles though sometimes they would act a little stiffly and some parts but nothing to terrible to scream about. The set itself is pretty sturdy you have eleven dvds put into one plastic dvd case that holds all the dvds and which is pretty sturdy so you shouldn't have to worry about any of the dvds shaking off or the case breaking apart. There aren't any extras as far as I've seen on the dvds though, also the video while not to blurred could have used some fixing but like one reviewer said the video probably is better than the vhs version and the audio pretty clean so no complaints on that part. So if you're interested in police series with the touch of humor this series is probably a good choice for the price it's going for but also take it with a grain of salt....
